Role Overview:
As the ALS Lab Manager, you will be the lead responsible for the efficient delivery of lab data processing services. Your expertise in industry knowledge and market research will ensure compliance with ESI specifications for incoming productions, while you keep attorneys informed about the lab activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage lab data processing services, ensuring timely and accurate completion of all tasks. 📊
- Analyze, develop, and implement approaches for electronic file processing in accordance with ESI specifications.
- Consult with attorneys and support staff on best practices and participate in teleconferences with relevant parties.
- Track and communicate activities in the lab, including deadlines, technical challenges, and resource availability.
- Oversee webhosting support for unsupported cases and manage a team of eDiscovery professionals in a client-site laboratory.
- Advise on all phases of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM): Data Collection, Processing, Hosting, Review, Analytics, and Production.
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience with Relativity required; certification preferred (RCA or Relativity Analytics Specialist).
- 8+ years of experience in eDiscovery roles, including electronic files processing and data analysis.
- 5+ years in a management/ supervisory capacity.
- In-depth knowledge of the litigation discovery process and EDRM workflows.
- Familiarity with document review software such as iConect, Venio, or similar tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field preferred.
Ideal Candidate Will Also Have:
- Experience with litigation support tools such as LAW, IPRO, Concordance, MS Office Suite, and LiveNote is highly valued.
