Position Overview:
As an Associate Principal, you will lead mid to large-scale projects that require your expertise in security design. You will collaborate with clients, design team members, and contractors to deliver top-notch solutions, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. You will also take on a mentorship role to junior staff and contribute to our in-house training program. ππ€
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage complex projects across various disciplines.
- Produce detailed drawings, specifications, calculations, and reporting documents.
- Foster strong client relationships while soliciting feedback for continuous improvement.
- Mentor junior designers and share technical knowledge through our TEECOMuniversity program.
- Conduct project meetings, inspections, and coordinate with architects and engineers.
- Ensure timeliness and accuracy in documentation and project deliverables.
- Identify additional business opportunities through networking and client engagement.
- Manage project financials, ensuring profitability and budget adherence.
Qualifications:
- BS in Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of six years in physical or electronic security systems design.
- Proficiency in Autodesk (AutoCAD, Revit), Bluebeam Studio, and Microsoft/G Suite.
- Certifications such as EIT, CDT, PSP, and/or CPP are a plus.
Skills:
- Strong organizational and documentation capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Proven problem-solving skills with an emphasis on methodical approaches.
- High emotional intelligence to foster a positive team dynamic.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary: $125,000 - $160,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
