π οΈ Key Requirements:
- Field installation experience in security environments: Fire Alarm / Intrusion / Access Control
- NICET Certification (Preferred)
- Valid Physical Security and/or Life Safety License
- Knowledge of NFPA Standards, including NFPA 70 and 72
- Ability to Travel for Extended Periods
- Daytime Work with Some Night Shifts
- Willingness to Work at Heights (20β-60β)
- Blueprint and Site Map Reading Skills
- Familiarity with Multiple Intrusion/Access System Manufacturers is a Plus
- Excellent Customer Relationship and Communication Skills
- Basic PPE and Reliable Transportation Prior to Company Vehicle Assignment
- Proficiency in Computer Tools and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
π οΈ Key Responsibilities:
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair cabling systems for IP Video, Access Control / Intrusion Alarm, LAN/WAN infrastructure
- Run low voltage cabling in commercial buildings, including drilling and conduit bending
- Ensure complete wiring and installations for Access Control and Intrusion Systems with total customer satisfaction
- Install, repair, and program fire alarm systems according to plans and layouts
- Conduct compliance tests for newly installed systems
- Adhere to safety regulations set by Wachter, customers, and OSHA
- Collaborate with Installation Team Lead or Project Manager on scheduling and delivery processes
