GIS Account Manager 🌍

Join Esri's Global Business Development team as a GIS Account Manager and leverage your passion for geospatial technology to help organizations overcome their challenges. We are seeking a customer-oriented, collaborative team player ready to create impactful location strategies and build lasting relationships with new and existing customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build Relationships: Develop and implement location strategies for organizations while maintaining a robust pipeline of growth opportunities. Utilize social media to expand your professional network and participate in industry events such as trade shows and workshops.

  • Understand Our Customers: Showcase your industry knowledge while identifying key stakeholders and business drivers. Understand customer budgeting processes and utilize solution selling to address their needs and challenges.

  • Learn and Grow: Clearly communicate the value of Esri technology across various industries. Engage in ongoing research and professional development to anticipate and meet customer needs.

  • Deliver Results: Manage the account management and sales processes effectively. Use visual storytelling techniques to propose tailored solutions that align with customer requirements.

  • Collaborate with Others: Work across teams at Esri to define and execute account strategies. Exhibit motivation and resourcefulness to resolve any issues collaboratively.

Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of enterprise sales, consulting, or program management experience
  • Solid understanding of GIS, Esri technology, and relevant industries
  • Proven track record of forming partnerships and being a trusted advisor
  • Strong account planning and opportunity strategy skills
  • Knowledge of industry trends and ability to translate them into customer solutions
  • Excellent negotiation and presentation skills; adept at storytelling at all organizational levels
  • Willingness to travel domestically or internationally (25-50%)
  • Bachelor’s degree in GIS, business administration, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience managing the sales life cycle
  • Familiarity with data science or spatial analysis for organizational problem-solving
  • Awareness of industry fiscal year budgeting and procurement processes
  • Master’s degree in GIS, business administration, or a related field

Compensation & Benefits:

Esri offers competitive health and welfare benefits, 401(k) and profit-sharing programs, generous vacation leave, and professional growth opportunities. Base salary ranges from $72,800 to $131,040 USD based on experience and qualifications.
