Join Nielsen’s dynamic team as a Global Deal Desk Leader where you will help shape the media future by providing insights that power client decisions and deliver exceptional results. About the Role:
In this pivotal position, you will align with senior leadership to tackle key roadblocks and oversee the global deal desk as a trusted advisor to sales leaders and finance. You will partner with senior leadership to improve deal desk processes and performance while enforcing new commercial policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee program management and analytics 📊
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Remove roadblocks to implementation milestones
- Promote standardization across segments
- Act as a key authority on deal escalation
- Conduct performance management discussions
- Provide feedback and guide the deal desk team
Deliverables:
- Fully staffed and functional deal desk meeting implementation targets
- Performance dashboard for deal desk management and regular reporting
- Commercial policy adherence dashboard and reports
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience, with at least 6 years in sales, deal desk, and management roles
- Strong leadership and communication skills to lead a global team
- Excellent execution and planning skills for large-scale organizational transformations
- Ability to deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Skilled in stakeholder and people management
- Willingness to travel ✈️
- Prior experience in leading a deal desk in a technology/media company is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required; MBA preferred 🎓
Compensation:
A competitive salary range of $100,000 - $300,000, adjusted based on geographic location and experience.
