Are you looking to make an impact in a rewarding work environment? Penumbra is seeking a dedicated Part Time Temporary Human Resources Assistant to support our HR operations! This is a fantastic opportunity to provide essential human resources assistance while ensuring a productive workplace for our employees.
π Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering routine employee inquiries and offering support from onboarding to offboarding.
- Manage and resolve employee inquiries using our ticket system, collaborating with subject matter experts as needed.
- Conduct new employee orientations, ensuring the accuracy of new hire documentation, including I-9 forms.
- Process and maintain essential documentation for new employees, assisting with benefits enrollment and company policies.
- Keep employee files organized and confidential in our HRIS software and Excel spreadsheets.
- Prepare organizational charts and support training activities, tracking compliance with Harassment Prevention programs.
- Participate in hiring fairs and community outreach initiatives.
- Assist with processing terminations and special projects, including fundraising and wellness initiatives.
- Prepare reports and respond to ad hoc information requests to support HR and other departments.
π‘ What You Bring:
- An Associate Degree with 2+ years of administrative experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Preferred prior experience in Human Resources and the medical industry.
- Strong attention to detail and accurate data entry skills.
- Excellent customer service approach with a positive mindset.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging with diverse teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general HRIS knowledge preferred.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining confidentiality.
- A creative problem-solver with a βdo whatever it takesβ attitude.
π’ Working Conditions:
- General office environment with the requirement of on-site work.
- Ability to work on a computer and standard office equipment for prolonged periods.
- Communicate effectively across various levels of the organization.
- Physical ability to lift and move items weighing up to 25 pounds.

- Base Pay: $20.00 β 25.00 per hour, based on qualifications and experience.
