Java Backend Developer - Freelance (6-Month Mission) 🌍

Are you a passionate Java developer looking for an exciting opportunity? Join our Fraud team at VeepeeTech in Paris! We're on a mission to prevent fraudulent transactions within our ecosystem, and we need your expertise!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and redesign features of our Fraud Management System to ensure efficient fraud detection.
  • Create internal operations backoffice systems to automate data management and implement control dashboards using Grafana for real-time monitoring.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to implement business logic and optimize application performance.
  • Maintain code quality, review designs, and ensure reliability and scalability of applications.
  • Write technical documentation and conduct technical interviews for new developers.

Must-Have Skills:

  • 5+ years of software development experience, with strong hands-on skills in Java (Spring Boot).
  • Proficiency in Microservices Architecture, Kubernetes, Docker, and asynchronous messaging (Kafka).
  • Experience in configuring monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and Kibana.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
  • Familiarity with cloud programming tools, APIs, and web services.
  • Fluent in English and experienced in Agile methodologies.
