Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner, Certified Nurse Midwife, or Physician Assistant to join our New London Health Center team. Embrace collaboration, open communication, and mutual respect in our diverse workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide culturally competent reproductive health care services, including preventive care, contraceptive care, medication abortion, miscarriage management, vaginitis treatment, STD screening/treatment, ultrasound, gender hormone care, and education & counseling.
- Participate in clinical research studies and serve as a medical resource for health center staff.
- Collaborate with the center manager to achieve established goals for productivity and patient satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- National certification as an NP, PA, or CNM and a valid Connecticut state license.
- Availability to work full-time (37.5 hours per week).
- A demonstrated understanding of racial inequity in healthcare systems.
- Ability to build authentic relationships across diverse identities.
- Reliable transportation required; willingness to float/travel to Hartford area health centers.
- Experience in reproductive health care preferred.
- Spanish fluency is a plus!
Compensation:
💰 Salary: $90,169 - $140,889 annually (based on experience), plus $5,000 sign-on bonus for Clinicians. New graduates can expect a starting salary of approximately $110,750.
