Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare journal entries and analyze automated revenue postings.
- Review contracts and sales orders for accuracy with commercial customers.
- Monitor daily billing activities and support the month-end close process for all revenue channels.
- Maintain reconciliations for accounts related to Greenlightβs revenue streams.
- Assist in understanding period-over-period changes in revenue streams.
- Identify opportunities to enhance revenue operations efficiency and automate key processes.
- Review contracts for key terms impacting revenue recognition under ASC 606.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Data Analytics, and Business Development to ensure precise billing and revenue recognition.
- Develop project plans that outline data requirements and key decision-points to support new revenue stream deployments.
- Provide additional support to the Accounting team for month-end close and unique financial accounting tasks.
What Youβll Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Masterβs preferred).
- 3-5 years of relevant industry or public accounting experience.
- Proficiency in NetSuite ERP, revenue recognition platforms, and CRM systems.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (complex formulas and BI tools preferred).
- Strong understanding of ASC 606 requirements.
- Experience in corporate month-end closing cycles.
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and other departments.
- Adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced growth environment.
