Senior Account Manager β Commercial π

We are seeking a collaborative and customer-oriented Senior Account Manager to enhance our commercial account team. Dive into exciting challenges, optimize and expand adoption of Esri technology, and deliver unparalleled expertise to our Hi-Tech, Media & Entertainment, Consumer Goods & Services, and Financial Services customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build Relationships π€: Prospect and engage with large organizations, developing and implementing effective location strategies. Present and participate in trade shows, workshops, and seminars to foster connections.
- Understand Our Customers π: Leverage advanced industry knowledge to identify key stakeholders and negotiate access to enterprise-level decision makers. Navigate complex budgeting and procurement processes with ease.
- Learn and Grow π: Articulate the value of Esri technology, continuously pursue professional development, and enhance competitive knowledge through research and innovative storytelling.
- Deliver Results π―: Manage account strategies proactively to meet revenue goals and evaluate work effectiveness in meeting customer needs.
- Collaborate with Others π οΈ: Lead account strategies by partnering across Esri teams and mentoring fellow members. Embrace initiative and resourcefulness to resolve challenges.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise sales or relevant consulting/program management.
- Proven ability to manage sales cycles and establish partnerships with large clients.
- Strong financial and business acumen, especially in crafting account growth strategies.
- In-depth knowledge of GIS trends and application for creating complex solutions.
- Proficient in visual storytelling and negotiation skills at all organizational levels.
- Understanding of industry fiscal cycles and ability to travel 25-50% domestically and internationally.
- Bachelorβs degree in GIS, Business Administration, or a related field. π
Recommended Qualifications:
- General knowledge of data science or spatial analysis for problem-solving.
- Masterβs degree in GIS, Business Administration, or a related field is a plus.
