What You'll Be Doing:

• Design, build, deploy, and maintain highly resilient and scalable features across Toast’s enterprise management products.
• Lead complex projects that enhance functionality and reliability for our customers.
• Collaborate and partner with various teams across Toast to gather requirements and craft solutions.
• Own the Android system and ensure quality by implementing automated testing for changes.
• Roll out features to customers and monitor for success.
• Work closely with UX and PM to define and design cutting-edge features.
• Mentor and coach fellow engineers, sharing your expertise!

What We Need from You:

• 5+ years of experience in Android development 📱.
• Proficient in Object-Oriented Languages like Java or Kotlin, with a solid grasp of testing and quality standards.
• Proven track record in shipping production services while maintaining platform stability and reliability.
• Experience building backend services and APIs, scaling distributed systems is a plus.
• A focus on creating a positive impact for Toast customers.
• Excellent communication skills to discuss complex technical topics across teams.
