About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. You’ll design and optimize AI-powered search solutions that surface crucial insights for forensic investigators. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including AI Research, Product, and Engineering to redefine search capabilities, ensuring fast and relevant results.

Responsibilities:
✅ Design and develop cutting-edge AI-powered search solutions.
✅ Build scalable, efficient search infrastructure for digital forensics.
✅ Collaborate with AI Research to integrate advanced search techniques.
✅ Optimize indexing, query execution, and performance.
✅ Evaluate and innovate with best-in-class search technologies.
✅ Work closely with Product and UX for alignment with user needs.
✈️ Travel: 5%

Qualifications:
🔍 3+ years of experience with search infrastructure technologies (e.g., Elasticsearch, Solr).
📊 Strong programming and analytical skills; experience in Python and C# is a plus.
💡 Knowledge of distributed systems and search scaling strategies.
🌱 Naturally curious, with an eagerness to learn and adapt in fast-changing environments.
📈 Proven ability to communicate effectively across teams.
📘 Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

Great to Haves:
✨ Experience with AI search enhancements (e.g., natural language search).
☁️ Familiarity with cloud-native architectures (AWS, Azure).

Compensation & Benefits:
💰 Compensation Range: $87,200 - $130,800 CAD
