Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the global calibration program and HQ calibration execution in Costa Mesa.
  • Collaborate with product development, production, and field operations teams to align processes and capabilities.
  • Execute calibration activities across local factories and test sites.
  • Design and implement an effective calibration process for a new factory within 18 months.
  • Develop, upgrade, and maintain the calibration database ensuring accuracy and traceability.
  • Innovate calibration methods and technologies to enhance efficiency.
  • Create and document calibration processes, roles, and responsibilities.
  • Coordinate with calibration vendors for quotes, scheduling, and compliance audits.
  • Monitor and ensure consistency in calibration plans and training across global sites.

Required Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in Science/Engineering or similar technical field.
  • A minimum of 3 years experience in calibration management, ideally in a defense or aerospace environment.
  • Proven skills in managing calibration processes in large organization settings.
  • Experience with automated calibration tools and managing 3rd party vendors.
  • Familiarity with calibration standards and methods.
  • Leadership and project management skills across multiple sites.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Must be eligible for a U.S. TS/SCI security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Engineering or Quality Management.
  • Previous experience in a metrology department.
  • Knowledge of precise measurement tools.
  • Experience preparing for external audits.

Salary:
๐Ÿ’ผ Range: $142,000 - $213,000 USD
