Role Overview
We are on the lookout for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our AXIOM Examine team, responsible for developing our advanced desktop product that assists examiners with in-depth analysis of file systems, registry, and more. If you possess strong leadership skills and a passion for technology, this is the opportunity for you!๐
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the AXIOM Examine team in roadmap execution and project delivery, ensuring high quality standards.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders, including Product Management, UX, and Customer Support.
- Provide mentorship and support to foster team membersโ career development.
- Cultivate an inclusive team culture that encourages innovation and collaboration.
- Support recruitment efforts by participating in hiring and onboarding new talent.
- Partner with peers to enhance engineering practices and processes across the organization.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience leading software development teams in medium to large companies.
- Proven ability to balance technical and business priorities.
- Excellent leadership and mentoring skills, with a focus on team development.
- Strong communication skills for effective interactions with diverse audiences.
- Commitment to building a positive team culture that promotes collaboration and continuous improvement.
Nice to Haves:
- Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA or Microsoft Azure.
- Familiarity with programming languages like C#, .net, and WPF.
- Strong conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Compensation Range: CAD $131,200 - $196,800 based on experience and qualifications.
