About the Role:
As an experienced Electrical Engineer, you will spearhead subsystems development for missiles and UAVs. Your expertise in power systems, communications systems, battery technology, and avionics circuit designs will be instrumental in driving our mission forward. You'll manage vendor relationships and ensure our technologies perform at the highest reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Full-cycle PCB design: from collecting requirements to integration and testing. ๐Ÿ› ๏ธ
  • Develop air vehicle avionics systems, including flight controls and networking solutions.
  • Create system interconnect diagrams and define wire harnesses for vehicle electronic equipment.
  • Collaborate with other air vehicle subsystem teams to ensure integrated development. ๐Ÿค
  • Conduct vendor evaluations for sourcing avionics components.
  • Participate in peer-level and cross-discipline design reviews.
  • Build, test, and validate avionics system components through various testing phases.
  • Execute low-level firmware development and perform root cause analysis.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with 5+ years of experience in complex board design.
  • Proficiency with test equipment: oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and more.
  • Familiarity with standard interfaces (Ethernet, CAN, I2C, SPI, etc.) and MCU/CPU/FPGA technologies.
  • Knowledge of modern analog and digital electronics.
  • Experience with electronic CAD tools (Altium preferred).
  • Ability to obtain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Understanding of DO-254, DO-178C, and relevant avionics design standards.
  • Familiarity with aircraft avionics module vendors.

Compensation:

  • Salary Range: $142,000 - $213,000 USD
